The field layouts were decent, except the XSV field. The fields were flat but VERY dusty. Not a great venue, but decent enough to ball it up.
Kolohe Nov:
8 games, 4 on the XSV field, 4 on the Silverstar feild.
Started out with a strong win against Red Devils on the XSV field, then lost to EPIC on silverstar. Lost a very close game to AlienPB by 1 body with disputable calls. We talked to the refs and unfortunelty it seemed to give us bad luck on that field every game after, losing a total of 3 on the XSV field. We however played very strong on the Silverstar winning 3 games quickly. We ended up 4-4 putting us in 11th place out of 20 teams. Unfortunetly we were not one of the lucky teams to get a Free win/BYE. We played great though and big thanks to Lance and Marco of the LA wildcards for guesting for us this event due to being shorthanded.
Kolohe Rookie
In thier first event as a team and after only 1 practice only won 2 games of 7 but played VERY strong and kept thier heads up to finish 38th of 50 teams. Everyone expressed interest in playing Vegas, so watch out with a month+ of hopefully solid practice they should do very well in Vegas.
Kolohe Kids
As always, picking up our slack and helping to keep Team Kolohe in the spotlight, they played great in prelims and had a 4 game winning streak in finals to place 4th overall!! Way to go guys.
Overall a great weekend. Kolohe and Kolohe Kids will now be getting ready for NPPL OC October 20-22nd and all teams for XPSL Vegas.
